General form of a quadratic equation is
a x 2 + b x + c = 0
where a, b, and c are constants and a≠0.

*Note that the highest power of an unknown of a quadratic equation is 2.


Example (Find the values of a, b and c)
Rewrite the following into the general form of a quadratic equation. Find the values of a, b, and c.
(a) ( 3 x 5 ) 2 = 0
(b) (x - 8)(x + 8) = 0
